Shooters’ Hearing Protection

Whether recreational or professional, it is very important to wear hearing protection if you are shooting or taking part in a shoot.

It is a legal requirement in Europe for PPE to comply with regulation and safety requirements. All PPE should be marked with the CE mark to show that it is compliant. Look for the CE mark from the manufacturer.

Plugs can now come with a filter embedded within them. This allows a reduction in the peak pressure level of the shot, but will allow conversational sounds to be heard. This allows you to wear the plugs comfortably and easily all day. Conventional solid plugs with no filter will block all ambient and conversational sounds as well as the loud sounds.

For more information on types of shooting plugs please look at the following websites, choose your product and call us for an appointment to get impressions taken. Your hearing is precious – don’t risk it.
